Fresh Color for Old Savannah Walls

We paint rooms, porches, siding and kitchen cabinets across Chatham County. Two coats, clean lines, and the yard left the way we found it.

What We Paint

Most weeks it is a mix of rooms, a cabinet job in the shop, a front door or two and one full exterior. Tap any photo to see it bigger.

Price the Job, Then Try the Color

Move the controls and the price range, paint and days change as you go. Pick a color on the right to see it on the walls.

How much prep?
Light means clean walls with a few nail holes. Some means cracks, patches and caulk. Heavy means peeling paint, water stains or a color change from dark to light.
Every price includes

Paint from a local supply house, drop cloths and tape, patching the small stuff, two coats, and a walk around with you at the end. Rotten wood and plaster repair are priced after we see them.

Most of a Good Paint Job Happens Before the Paint

Savannah is hard on paint. Damp air lifts it, sun chalks it, and old plaster cracks when the house settles. So we slow down here.

  • We wash siding and let it dry a full day before anyone opens a can.
  • Loose paint gets scraped, sanded and spot primed. Bare wood gets an oil primer.
  • Cracks get taped and mudded, not just filled and hoped for.
  • Homes built before 1978 get lead safe setup, with plastic down and the dust bagged.

What Neighbors Say

They painted three sample boards and left them with us for a week. We picked the one we never would have picked from a chip.

Denise R. Pooler

Our porch ceiling is haint blue again and the rotten beadboard got fixed first. Neat crew, no paint on the brick.

Marcus T. Isle of Hope

Cabinets look factory sprayed. The kitchen was usable most of the week, which mattered with two kids.

Questions We Hear a Lot

Why are so many Savannah porch ceilings painted blue?

It is an old Lowcountry habit called haint blue. Some folks say it keeps wasps and mud daubers from nesting. Most people just like how it looks. We keep four shades of it on the truck.

How long does exterior paint last here?

Seven to ten years on most siding when the prep was done right. Salt air and hard sun on the islands can cut that short, so we look at coastal homes every few years.

Can you paint my kitchen cabinets instead of replacing them?

Most of the time, yes. We take the doors to our shop, clean and sand them, and spray them there. The boxes get brushed and rolled in your kitchen. Plan on about a week.

Do you move the furniture?

Yes. We move it to the middle of the room, cover it, and put it back when we finish. Please box up small things and take art off the walls before we come.

Can I see a color on my wall before I pick it?

Yes. We paint two foot sample boards in up to three colors and leave them with you for a few days. Look at them in the morning and at night before you choose.

Ready for a Walkthrough?
