Questions Before You Book
Is it cheaper to book with you or online?
Usually the fare is the same, because cruise lines set it. The cruise line pays us, so most clients pay us nothing extra. If a trip needs a planning fee, we tell you before you book.
Why do fares change so much?
Cruise lines change prices and availability every day. The fares on this page are samples. We quote the real fare for your date and cabin, and it is not held until you put down a deposit.
Do I need travel insurance?
It is your choice, but we suggest it for Alaska. Medical care on a ship or in a small town can cost a lot, and a flight delay can mean missing the ship. We can show you a few plans side by side.
Should I leave from Seattle or Vancouver?
Seattle is an easy drive from Whatcom County and most trips go round trip. Vancouver trips often go one way to Alaska and see more glaciers, but you need a passport and a flight home.
Will I see the northern lights?
Probably not in summer, because the nights are too short. Late September gives a small chance on a clear night. Nobody can promise it.
