Know What the Dealer Added Before You Sign
We are a small Midland auto lender. We preapprove you before you shop, and we refinance dealer loans that cost too much.
What Is the Dealer Adding?
Grab the buyer's order. Put in the amount you are financing, then check each extra that shows up on it. You see what they add to your payment and to the total you pay.
An estimate, not an offer of credit. It uses the sample APR and term you picked, with no down payment on the extras and no taxes or fees. Your real rate depends on your credit, the vehicle and underwriting. All loans are subject to credit approval.
- Every add-on is optional. No lender can make you buy one to get the loan.
- GAP is often cheaper through your car insurance company. Call and ask before you sign.
How We Help Buyers in the Basin
A loan from us, the same way whether you buy from a big dealer on Loop 250 or from a neighbor down the road.
Private Party Loans
Buying from a neighbor or a family member? We handle the title, pay the seller and put the lien on the right paper.
Preapproval Before You Shop
Know your top price and your rate before the salesperson asks what payment you want. Most answers come the same day.
Used Truck Loans up to 10 Years Old
Most of what sells out here is a used pickup with miles on it. We lend on trucks up to 10 model years old and up to 150,000 miles. Get an inspection first, and we will tell you if the price looks high for the miles.
The payment is the last number to look at. Look at the price, the extras and the total first.Rosa, loan officer since 2011
Paying Too Much on a Dealer Loan?
If your credit is better now than when you bought, a refinance can lower the rate. It will not always save money, and we will say so when it does not.
- Your current loan statementThe payoff amount and your rate are on it.
- Your registration or title numberSo we can check the vehicle and its value.
- Proof of incomeTwo recent pay stubs, or a tax return if you work for yourself.
What Buyers Say
The dealer had $4,100 of extras on my paper. I took off three of them and kept GAP. My payment dropped $58 a month.
Jesse C. OdessaPreapproved on a Tuesday, bought the truck on Saturday. The finance guy stopped pushing once he saw my letter.
Amber L. MidlandRosa told me refinancing would only save me $9 a month and was not worth it. I trust them because of that.

Questions Before You Sign
Can I get preapproved before I go to the dealer?
Yes. Call or stop in, and we can usually give you a preapproval the same day. You walk onto the lot knowing your top price and your rate. If the dealer offers a better rate, take it.
Do I have to buy GAP or a service contract to get the loan?
No. Add-ons are optional under our loans. If a dealer tells you the loan needs one, ask them to show you where it says that in writing.
When does refinancing a dealer loan make sense?
Usually when your credit has improved since you bought, when rates have dropped, or when the dealer rate was high to begin with. We check your payoff and show the new payment and the total interest both ways before you decide.
Will checking my rate hurt my credit?
We start with a soft pull, which does not change your score. A hard pull only happens when you choose to apply.
Can I cancel an add-on I already bought?
Often yes. Most service contracts and GAP policies can be canceled for a prorated refund. The refund usually goes back to the loan balance. Bring your contract and we will help you find the cancel form.
