Before You Book
Do I need to be home while you work?
No. Leave the keys where we agree, and we text you photos and the total when we're done. Pay by card from your phone. Plenty of our customers are at work the whole time.
Is a mobile mechanic more expensive than a shop?
Usually not. We don't pay for a building, so our labor rate runs close to a shop's. The trip fee is $45 and it goes away when you book a repair over $300.
Can you work at my apartment or office?
Most of the time, yes. We need a flat paved spot and enough room to open the doors and hood. Some complexes don't allow oil changes in the lot, so check your lease or book us at your office.
What happens if it needs a shop after all?
We tell you before any work starts. You only pay the diagnosis, and we can set up a tow to a partner shop we trust in Dallas and give them our notes.
Do you work in the rain or the heat?
We carry a pop up canopy for light rain and summer sun. In storms or ice we move your job to the next open slot and text you right away.
Can you inspect a used car before I buy it?
Yes. We meet you at the seller's house or the lot, scan it, check it top to bottom and drive it. It takes about an hour and costs $149. You get a photo report on your phone before you hand over any money.
