What Will It Cost to Ship My Car?
Pick your route and your car. You get a price range, a pickup window and days on the road. We confirm the exact price when you book.
About 0 miles by road. Door to door, fuel and tolls in the price.
Before You Book Anyone
- Every carrier needs a USDOT number and an MC number. Look both up on the FMCSA website and make sure the authority is active.
- Ask for the certificate of insurance. The name on it should match the truck at pickup.
- Never pay the full price before the car is picked up.

What Snowbirds Say
Our Buick left Estero on a Tuesday and was in our driveway in Worcester on Saturday. The driver texted every night.

Questions Before You Ship
How do I know a car shipper is legit?
Ask for the USDOT and MC numbers and look them up on the FMCSA website. The authority should say active. Then ask for the certificate of insurance and check that the name on it matches the truck that shows up.
Are you a broker or a carrier?
Both. Our own trucks run the Florida to Northeast and Midwest lanes. When a date or route does not fit our trucks, we book another carrier we have used before and tell you who it is before pickup.
Can I leave things in the car?
Up to 100 pounds in the trunk, below the window line. Household goods are not covered by the carrier's cargo insurance, so leave anything of value at home.
What happens at pickup?
The driver walks around the car with you, takes photos and marks any dings on the bill of lading. You both sign it. At delivery you do the same walk around before you sign again.
When should I book for the spring trip north?
Three to four weeks out. March and April fill up fast on the northbound lanes. The same is true for southbound trips from late October through December.
