Questions Drivers Ask Us
How long does it take to get a Class A CDL?
Our full time Class A course takes about 4 weeks, Monday to Friday. The night and weekend course takes about 7 weeks. Endorsements like hazmat or tanker add a few days of classroom time.
What do I need before I start?
A valid Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma or Arkansas driver's license, a DOT physical with a medical card, and a clean drug screen. You must be 21 to drive across state lines. We help you set up the physical and screen in your first week.
Will a carrier really pay back my tuition?
Some of the carriers we place drivers with pay back part or all of your tuition, usually a set amount each month you stay with them. The terms are different for every carrier, and you see them in writing before you sign anything.
Can I get hired with a ticket or an old DUI?
Maybe. Every carrier has its own hiring rules for your background and driving record. Tell us the details before you enroll and we will tell you honestly which carriers are likely to consider you.
Is the pay you show a promise?
No. The pay on this page is a sample range from recent job offers in our area. A real offer depends on the carrier, the freight, the miles and your record.
