What It Costs, Before and After Aid

You see one price with books, scrubs and tools in it. Then we sit down and find out what you qualify for.

  • Federal aid, workforce grants and employer tuition help are all possible. What you get depends on your eligibility.
  • Payment plans split the rest into monthly amounts with no interest.
  • We help with resumes and local hiring days. No school can promise a job or a wage, and we won't.

“I did the night nursing assistant class after my warehouse shift. Eight weeks, and I passed the state test the first time.”

Tasha R. Holt

“The welding instructors actually watch your bead and tell you what went wrong. Saturday class made it doable with two kids.”

Marcus L. Grand Ledge

Questions Before You Enroll

Still not sure? Come to a free info session any Tuesday at 6 pm. Bring someone if you want.

Students come from Lansing, East Lansing, Okemos, Holt, DeWitt, Grand Ledge, Mason, Charlotte and St. Johns.

Can I keep my job while I train?

Most of our students do. Night classes run Monday to Thursday from 6 to 9:30 pm, and weekend classes meet Saturday and Sunday mornings. Clinical hours and shop time are set before you enroll, so you can plan around your shifts.

Will financial aid cover my program?

It depends on your eligibility and the program. Some students qualify for federal aid, some for local workforce grants, and some get help from an employer. Our aid office goes over your options with you for free before you sign anything.

Do you promise a job when I finish?

No school can honestly promise that. We help with resumes, practice interviews and local hiring days, and we share which employers have hired our students before. Getting hired depends on you, the employer and the job market.

Is the school accredited?

Our accreditation and state approval details are listed on the live site, with the agency name and license number. Ask us for a copy and we will send it the same day.

What do I need to apply?

A high school diploma or GED, a photo ID, and for nursing assistant, a background check and a TB test. Welding and HVAC students need steel toe boots. We send you the full list after your info session.
