When Could Each Debt Settle?
Put in your balances and what you could set aside each month. You will see a rough month for each account and the month our first fee would come due. Nothing here is saved or sent.
This is a rough guide, not an offer. It assumes each account settles in one lump sum once your savings cover the deal plus our fee. Real deals can come sooner, later, or not at all.
Sample fee 20 percent of each enrolled balance, charged only after that debt settles, you approve it, and a payment goes to the creditor. Your written agreement shows your real fee.
Creditors do not have to agree. Some sue while you save. Accounts go late during the program, which hurts your credit, and forgiven debt may be taxable.

Where Every Dollar Goes
The same lines you will see in the agreement, before you sign anything.
- Signing up$0
No enrollment fee, no setup fee, no charge for the first visit.
- While you save$0
Your money sits in your own account. We take nothing from it until a deal is done.
- Each settled debt20%
A set share of that one balance, written in your agreement. You say yes to each deal first.
- If you quitYours
You keep what is in your account, less fees already earned on settled deals.
Settlement Is Not for Everybody. Here Is Why.
Your Credit Takes a Hit
Accounts go late while you save. Settled accounts can show for seven years.
Creditors Can Say No
No law makes them settle. Some sue. We tell you which ones tend to.
Forgiven Debt May Be Taxed
You may get a 1099 C. We list every forgiven amount for your preparer.
A Nonprofit May Fit Better
If you are current with steady pay, a nonprofit credit counseling plan may cost less. We will say so.

What Folks Say
Tasha showed me the months on paper before I signed. First card settled in month eight, just like she said it might.
Kendra W. Prichard
Mr. Batson told me my score would drop and it did. He also told me about the tax form, which nobody else mentioned.
Luis M. Tillmans Corner
They sent my mother to a nonprofit instead of signing her up. That is how I knew we could trust them with mine.

Questions We Hear Every Week
Ask us anything else on the phone. There is no charge to talk.
When do you get paid?
Only after a creditor agrees to settle one of your debts, you say yes to that deal, and at least one payment goes to the creditor. That is the FTC rule for debt settlement. Nothing is charged to enroll, and nothing is charged for the first sit down.
How much will my credit drop?
We cannot tell you a number, and nobody honest can. Settlement usually means your accounts go late while you save, and that hurts your score. A settled account can stay on your report for up to seven years. If you need a car loan or a lease soon, tell us first.
What if a creditor will not settle?
That happens. Creditors do not have to agree, and some file a lawsuit while you are saving. If a creditor sues, call us the day the papers come. We will tell you your choices, and we can refer you to a local lawyer.
Do I owe taxes on the part that is forgiven?
You may. When a creditor forgives $600 or more, they can send you a 1099 C and the IRS may count it as income. If you owed more than you owned at the time, you may not owe tax on it. Ask a tax preparer. We give you a list of every forgiven amount in January.
Is a nonprofit counselor a better choice for me?
It might be. If you are still current and have steady pay, a debt management plan from a nonprofit credit counseling agency often costs less and is easier on your credit. We will say so at the first visit and give you the number of an agency in town.
Bring Your Statements. We Will Map It Out.
Call or text and Tasha will set a time, usually within two days. Bring your last statements. Leave your account numbers at home.
