Cracked a molar on a popcorn kernel at 8 pm on a Sunday. Called, walked in at 8:40, had a temporary crown by 10.

      Marcus D. Lakeview

My son lost his front tooth at hockey. They told me to put it in milk and drive over. The dentist was calm and so kind to him.

      Jenna K. Evanston

They told me the price before they touched anything. No pressure to do more than I needed that night.

      Before You Head Over

      Can I just walk in?

Yes. Walk ins are welcome until one hour before close. Calling first is better, because we can hold a chair and tell you how long the wait is.

What does an emergency visit cost?

The exam and one x ray start at $89. You get the price for any treatment before we begin, and you can say no. We take most PPO plans and offer payment plans.

What do I do with a knocked out tooth?

Pick it up by the top, not the root. Rinse it for a second if it is dirty. Put it back in the socket if you can, or keep it in a cup of milk. Then call us and come in right away. The first hour matters most.

When should I go to the ER instead?

Go to the ER if your face or neck swelling is spreading fast, if you have a high fever with swelling, or if you were hit hard in the head or jaw. If you have trouble breathing or swallowing, call 911.

      Do you see kids?

Yes. We see kids of any age for broken or knocked out teeth and toothaches. A parent stays in the room the whole time.

Patients come in from Lincoln Park, Lakeview, Old Town, Wicker Park, Bucktown, Logan Square, Uptown, Evanston and Oak Park.
