Someone Just Passed?

You do not have to know what to do. Call us and a licensed director answers, day or night. We come to you.

(937) 555-0163 A person answers. Not a machine, not a call center.

You do not need to pick a casket, write an obituary or call the family tonight. Sit with them as long as you need. We will sort the rest out with you tomorrow.

Every Kind of Goodbye, Done Your Way

Some families want the full service with a procession. Others want a quiet cremation and a lunch later. Both are right.

A traditional funeral has a service with the body present, often after a viewing. A memorial service happens without the body, often after cremation. Graveside is a short service at the cemetery only. Direct cremation has no service with us, and families often hold their own gathering later.
A private family viewing is short and quiet, and usually needs no embalming. A public visitation with an open casket does, so we add it only then.

    What Families Tell Us

Mom passed at 2 in the morning. Tom was at the house in under an hour, and he never once made us feel rushed.

    Karen D. Kettering

They showed us the price list first thing and told us which items we could skip. We did not expect that.

    Marcus W. Trotwood

Dad's service felt like him. The photo table, his old Buick out front, all of it.

    Questions Families Ask Us

If yours is not here, call. There is no charge to ask, and no question is a bother.

    Is embalming required?

Not for most deaths. Ohio law does not require it. We only ask for it if you want a public visitation with an open casket. A short private family viewing can usually happen without it.

Can we buy a casket or urn somewhere else?

Yes. The FTC Funeral Rule says we have to accept a casket or urn you bought anywhere else, and we never add a fee for it. Have it shipped to us and we will take care of the rest.

What does a cremation with a memorial service cost?

With our current prices, a cremation, a memorial service in our chapel, a simple urn and one flower arrangement comes to about $3,550 to $4,480. The planner above shows each line so you can add or take away items.

Do you help with veterans benefits?

Yes. We request the flag, set up military honors and fill out the VA burial allowance forms with you. Bring the DD 214 if you have it, and we can order a copy if you do not.

What should we bring to the arrangement meeting?

Clothing if you want a viewing, a favorite photo, their Social Security number and any prepaid funeral papers. If you do not have something yet, come anyway. We can gather it together.
