Will my insurance pay for a new windshield in Florida?

How soon can I drive after a new windshield?
About an hour for most cars. The urethane that holds the glass needs that long to set. Leave the tape on for a day and skip the car wash for two days.
Why does my car need a camera calibration?
If your car has lane keeping or auto braking, the camera looks through the windshield. New glass shifts its view a tiny bit. Calibration aims it again so those systems see the road right. We do it and give you a printout.
Can you replace a windshield in the rain?
Not out in the open. Rain on the frame keeps urethane from sealing. In summer we plan around the afternoon storms, work under a carport or garage, or move you to the next dry slot.
Can a rock chip really be fixed?
Yes, most chips smaller than a quarter. We inject resin, cure it with UV light and polish it flat. It stops the chip from spreading. A faint mark may stay, but it is far clearer than before.
