Why is my double pane window foggy between the glass?
The seal around the glass failed and damp air got in. You don't need a whole new window. We replace just the sealed glass unit and keep your frame, which costs far less.
Can a windshield chip spread in the cold?
Yes, and Omaha winters are hard on chips. Hot defroster air on frozen glass makes a chip run fast. Warm the car up slowly and get chips fixed before the first hard freeze.
Do you calibrate the camera after a new windshield?
Yes. If your car has a camera behind the mirror for lane keeping or auto braking, we calibrate it after the new glass goes in and give you the printout.
How long does a custom shower door take?
About two to three weeks. We measure after the tile is done, the glass is cut and tempered to size, then we install it in an afternoon. Tempered glass can't be cut later, so the measure has to be exact.
Can you cut glass while I wait?
Often, yes, for plain glass in picture frames, cabinet doors and small tabletops. Tempered glass for tables that get daily use has to be ordered and takes about a week or two.
