Taking a photo of a cracked tail light after a crash

What to Photograph

  • All four sides of every car, up close and far away
  • The other car's plate and insurance card
  • Skid marks, glass and the street signs nearby
  • Traffic lights and any cameras on the corner
  • Your cuts and bruises, again every few days
  • The weather and the road, wet or dry

What Not to Say to the Adjuster

  • "I'm fine." You may not know yet.
  • "I'm sorry." It can sound like you admit fault.
  • "I think I was going about..." Do not guess speeds or times.
  • "Sure, you can record this." You can say no.
  • "I'll sign the medical release." Not before a lawyer reads it.

What We Take On

They talked to my mom in Spanish and to me in English on the same call. Nobody was lost.

Straight answers. Luis told me what to stop doing that day, and the adjuster stopped calling me.

A truck hit me on the Palmetto. They came to the hospital the next morning and made it simple.

Plain Answers

How long do I have to file after a car crash in Florida?

For most crashes after March 24, 2023, it is two years from the crash date. Older crashes often had four years. The date matters, so call and we will check yours.

Why do I need to see a doctor within 14 days?

Florida PIP insurance pays part of your medical bills, but only if you get care within 14 days of the crash. Go even if you feel okay. Some injuries show up later.

Do you speak Spanish?

Yes. Our lawyers and staff speak Spanish. You can call, text or meet with us fully in Spanish. Hablamos Español.

What does it cost?

The first call is free. If we take your case, our fee comes from any money we recover. If there is no recovery, you owe no fee. We go over costs in writing before you sign.

The other driver's insurance called me. Should I talk to them?

Keep it short. Give your name and phone number. Do not give a recorded statement, do not guess about what happened, and do not sign anything. Tell them your lawyer will call.

We cover all of Miami Dade. Miami, Hialeah, Doral, Coral Gables, Kendall, Miami Beach, North Miami, Homestead and Little Havana. Office open Monday to Friday 8 AM to 7 PM and Saturday 9 AM to 2 PM.
