My landlord rejected my certificate two days before opening. Ana fixed it and had a new one over by lunch.

Teresa C. Federal Hill

Joe insured my father's bakery and now he insures mine. They shop it around every renewal without me asking.

They explained what my boatyard policy did not cover before I found out the hard way.

Questions Owners Ask Us

What is a certificate of insurance?

It is a one page summary of your policies that proves you are covered. Landlords, clients and event venues ask for it. We send them for you, usually the same business day, at no charge.

Why use an independent agency instead of buying online?

We compare several insurance companies for you, not just one. Quotes depend on the carrier and on underwriting, so the best fit for a bakery is often not the best fit for a boatyard.

What is a business owner's policy?

A business owner's policy, or BOP, bundles general liability, property and business income into one policy. Most small shops and offices start there and add what their work needs.

My landlord says my certificate is wrong. What now?

Send us the letter or email. Usually it is a missing endorsement, like additional insured or waiver of subrogation. We check your policy and fix what can be fixed, then send a new certificate.

Do I need workers comp for part time help?

Rhode Island sets the rules, and part time workers often count. Call us with your head count and we tell you where you stand before you hire.

Bring Us Your Lease

Email it, drop it off or read it to us over the phone. Ana or Joe answers during office hours.
