What Pet Owners Say
Jess told us straight that the allergies would be left out. We still signed up, and it paid when Juno ate a sock.
Carmen D. Loveland
She sat on our floor with the puppy and explained the knee waiting period. Glad we started early.
Ben W. Windsor
Our cat is twelve. Jess found two insurers that would take her and showed us both prices.

Honest Answers About Pet Plans
Will pet insurance cover something my dog already has?
Usually not. Pre-existing conditions, meaning anything a vet noted or your pet showed signs of before coverage started, are usually excluded. Some insurers will cover a curable problem again after a stretch with no symptoms. We read each insurer's rules with you.
What is a waiting period?
It is the time between signing up and when the plan starts to pay. Accidents often start within a few days. Illness often waits about two weeks. Knee and hip problems in dogs can wait six months with some insurers. The exact days change from insurer to insurer.
Is my dog too old for pet insurance?
Many insurers take older pets, but the price goes up with age and a few have an age limit for new sign ups. The sooner you enroll, the fewer past problems can be left out.
Do you really come to my house?
Yes. We meet at your kitchen table anywhere from Loveland to Wellington, or on a video call if that is easier. Bring the vet records if you have them, and your pet is welcome to join.
How is this different from buying online?
The plans are the same. The difference is a person who compares several pet insurers for you, reads the exclusions out loud, and helps when a claim gets stuck. Price and approval depend on the insurer and your pet's history.
