What's My Junk Car Worth?

Tap what matches your car. The check on the right fills in as you go. It is a range, and the driver confirms it when he sees the car.

Steel is bought by the ton. The yard price moves every week with the metal market. A heavy truck is worth more than a small car for that reason alone.
A newer car has doors, lights, engines and transmissions that sell used. A car that still runs is worth more because the engine can be tested.
The catalytic converter holds small amounts of platinum, palladium and rhodium. That makes it the most valuable single part on most junk cars.

Lock In This Offer

We Buy the Ones Nobody Else Wants

Rusted out, no wheels, cat already gone. If it is a whole car and it sits in Lucas or Wood County, we will make an offer.

Old truck with no wheels sitting on cinder blocks in the snow

Up on Blocks

No wheels, no problem. We bring wheel dollies and roll it out.

Cat Got Stolen

It happens a lot around here. The car still has steel and parts value, so it still gets an offer.

Stuck in a Garage

Flat tires and tight spots are what dollies are for.

Vans and big SUVs weigh more, so they often pay more.

Where Your Car Goes

We drain the fluids and pull the parts that still work. The rest goes to a licensed scrap yard and gets recycled into new steel.

  • Oil, coolant and gas drained, not dumped
  • Batteries and tires recycled the right way
  • Good parts sold used, so fewer new ones get made

My old Buick sat in the yard for two years. They gave me a number on the phone and the driver paid that exact number.

Denise W. Sylvania

The truck had no wheels and was stuck behind the garage. He had it rolled out and loaded in twenty minutes.

Marcus T. Oregon

Someone stole the cat off my Accord. Two other places hung up on me. These guys still made a fair offer.

Questions Sellers Ask

Do I need a title to sell my junk car in Ohio?

Yes. In Ohio the title is how you prove the car is yours, and your signature on the back has to be notarized. Lost it? Any county clerk of courts title office can print a duplicate, most times while you wait. Bring your ID and the VIN.

How do I get paid?

Cash or a company check, handed to you at the car before we hook it up. We never mail a check later.

Is the towing really free?

Yes, anywhere in our service area. The offer we give you is the money you get. We do not take a tow fee out of it at the curb.

What do I do with my license plates?

In Ohio the plates stay with you, not the car. Take them off before we come. You can move them to your next car at the BMV. Call your insurance after the car is gone, not before.

Can the offer change when the driver gets there?

Only if the car is not what we were told. The common one is a catalytic converter that was stolen. The driver shows you what is different and you can say no. You owe nothing if you do.
