Payroll for Kitchens, Bars and Bakeries
Tips, tip pools, split shifts and summer crews. We only do restaurant payroll, for spots across Rhode Island.
When Does Everything Happen Before Payday?
Pick your payday. You see when hours and tips are due to us, when the money leaves your account, and when the payroll taxes are due.
General information, not tax advice. Dates skip weekends but not bank holidays, which push deposits a day later. The IRS sets your deposit schedule from your past tax totals. Not sure which one you have? We look it up when you sign on. Rhode Island withholding follows its own schedule, which we file for you.
Who We Pay Every Week
Forty one restaurants, bars, bakeries and summer shacks, from Woonsocket down to Narragansett. Tap a photo to see it big.

Bakeries and Cafes
Crews that start at 4 am, part timers and owners who work the counter too.

Bars
Tip pools, tip outs to barbacks and the cash tips nobody wrote down.

Full Service Kitchens
Overtime across two jobs, like a cook who also runs expo.

Summer Spots on the Coast
Thirty hires in May, final checks in September, and nothing to pay for in the months you are closed.
Two People Who Know Your Name
We worked in kitchens before we ran payroll. When you call, you get the person who ran your checks last week, not a queue.

From Owners on the Line
“Our old company treated tips like an afterthought. These two caught that three servers were under the state minimum on slow weeks and fixed it before anyone noticed.”
Marco D. Providence
“We run a shack that is open four months a year. They handle the May rush of hires and I do not pay a thing in February.”
Kerry O. Narragansett
“I text my hours at midnight after close. Checks land Friday. That is all I wanted.”
Thuy N. Pawtucket

Questions Owners Ask Us
How do you handle cash tips?
Your staff report cash tips each pay period, on paper or in the time clock. We add them to payroll so the right taxes come out, and we check that every tipped worker reaches the state minimum wage each week.
Can you run our tip pool?
Yes. Tell us who is in the pool and how you split it, by hours or by points. We do the math each pay period and show every worker their share on the pay stub.
Who is responsible if a tax filing is wrong?
Our service agreement spells out our tax filing accuracy terms, including what we cover if we make a mistake. You get it to read before you sign, and we will walk through it with you.
We hire thirty people every summer in Newport. Is that a problem?
No. We handle new hire paperwork and state new hire reporting in May, and final checks and year end forms after Labor Day. You only pay for the people on payroll that month.
How do we switch from our current payroll company?
Send us your last few payroll reports and your tax account numbers. We load your year to date numbers so W 2s come out right in January. Most switches take about two weeks, and the best time is the start of a quarter.
We run payroll for restaurants in Providence, Pawtucket, Cranston, Warwick, East Providence, Newport, Bristol, Woonsocket, North Kingstown and Narragansett.
