Pumps, Heaters and Filters, Fixed Right.

We are the pool techs other pool services call when the equipment pad quits. We test, find the failed part and tell you if it is worth fixing before we touch a wrench.

Pump motorWe read the amp draw here first. A hum with no spin is most often the start capacitor, about $180 to $320 to fix.
Return lineClean water goes back to the pool through here. Weak flow at the jets starts at a dirty filter or an air leak before the pump.
Filter valveSets filter, backwash or waste. A worn gasket here leaks at the pad and lets the pump lose its prime.

Two companies wanted to sell me a new pump. He found a bad capacitor, fixed it for under $200 and showed me the meter reading.

Dean C. Green Valley

Swapped our old single speed for a variable speed. The summer power bill dropped enough that we noticed the first month.

Maria L. Anthem

Heater kept clicking with no flame. Turned out to be a dirty filter tripping the pressure switch. Honest and quick.

Repair Questions

Should I repair my pool pump or replace it?

If the pump is under eight years old, a seal, capacitor or bearing repair usually makes sense. If it is older and single speed, a new variable speed pump often costs less over a few years because it uses far less power.

How much can a variable speed pump save in Henderson?

It depends on your hours and power rate. A single speed pump running eight hours a day can use over $600 of power a year here. A variable speed pump running longer at low speed often uses a quarter of that.

Why does my pool heater click but not light?

Most often the pressure switch is not closing because the filter is dirty or flow is low. It can also be the igniter, flame sensor or gas supply. We test each one in order so you only pay for the part that failed.

Do you work on all pump and heater brands?

Yes. We carry common seals, capacitors, motors and igniters on the truck, so many repairs finish on the first visit.

How long does a pool remodel take?

A new waterline tile and deck resurface takes about two to three weeks. A full replaster with new equipment runs four to six weeks, weather and permits allowing.
