Her best fit so far
We know the assisted living, memory care and independent living communities around The Villages. We tour them with you. Our help is free to families.

Families never pay us. When your loved one moves into a community we work with, that community pays us a referral fee. We still show you good places that do not pay us, and we tell you which ones those are.
Five questions about your mom or dad. You get the type of living that fits best, what it usually costs around here and what to ask on the tour.

Linda Ortega ran an assisted living community in Leesburg for 11 years. Now she sits on your side of the table.
We tour communities across Lake, Sumter and Marion counties, about an hour's drive in any direction from The Villages.
We flew down from Ohio with three days to find Dad a place. Linda had four tours lined up before we landed and told us which one had a bad inspection.

She told us up front the communities pay her. She still sent us to a small home that does not, because it fit Mom better.

Memory care was a word I did not want to hear. Linda was kind about it and stayed with us through the first month.

Assisted living helps with daily tasks like bathing, dressing and medicine in an apartment style home. Memory care is for people with dementia. The doors are secured, the days are more structured and staff are trained for memory loss. It usually costs more.
No. Medicare does not pay rent or care in assisted living. Some families use long term care insurance, VA Aid and Attendance or the Florida Medicaid long term care program. We explain which ones may fit.
Yes. We set up the tours, drive with you if you like and sit in on the price talk. Most families see three places in one or two days.
Often within one to three weeks. A doctor's form and a health check are needed first. After a hospital stay it can go faster, so call us before discharge.
Tell Linda about your mom or dad. She calls back the same day with two or three places worth seeing.
