Got a Letter From the IRS? Bring It Here First.
A Peoria enrolled agent and CPA read it with you and lay out every option, even the free ones.

What the IRS Already Offers, for Your Numbers
These are the IRS's own programs. Put in rough numbers. Nothing is saved or sent. We use the same list on the first call.
No Letter Yet
You may not need us. If you owe $50,000 or less and your returns are filed, you can usually set up a payment plan yourself on IRS.gov in under an hour. If that is all you need, we will tell you on the first call.
Months are a rough estimate using about 10 percent a year for IRS interest and the late payment penalty together. The IRS sets its rate every quarter. This is an estimate, not an offer of credit.
We Will Not Promise to Shrink Your Tax Bill.
Radio ads promise to settle for a fraction of what you owe. The IRS decides that, not us, and most offers are turned down. What we can do is file what is missing, ask for the penalty relief you qualify for, and set up a plan you can keep.
- Flat fees, quoted in writing
- Free first call
- We tell you when you can do it yourself

From People Who Got the Letter
She told me I could set up the plan online myself and walked me through it on the phone. No charge. I'll be back at tax time.
Gary H. Sun City West
Three years unfiled and I was scared to open the mail. They filed all three and got some penalties taken off.
Andrea M. Glendale
They said an offer would likely be turned down in my case. I appreciated the straight answer.

Questions We Hear Every Week
Can I set up an IRS payment plan without you?
Yes. If you owe $50,000 or less and your returns are filed, you can usually set up a plan yourself on IRS.gov. If that is all you need, we will tell you on the first call and not charge you.
Can you get my tax debt cut in half?
We can't promise that, and nobody honest can. The IRS accepts an offer in compromise only when your income and assets show you can't pay in full. Most offers are turned down. We run the numbers first and tell you if yours is a long shot.
What is the difference between an enrolled agent and a CPA?
Both can speak for you with the IRS. An enrolled agent is licensed by the IRS itself and works only on tax. A CPA is licensed by the state and also handles bookkeeping and business returns. Our office has one of each.
I have years of returns I never filed. Where do I start?
Start by filing them. Most payment options need every required return on file. We pull your IRS records, prepare the missing years, and then look at what you owe.
How do you charge?
A flat fee for each piece of work, quoted in writing after the first call. The first call is free. We don't bill by the hour and we don't take a cut of what you save.
Have the Letter in Your Hand?
Call with it in front of you. The first call is free and takes about 15 minutes.
