About Your TPMS Sensors

Every car and light truck sold new in the US since the 2008 model year has tire pressure sensors. We put a fresh service kit on each one when we mount tires, which is the valve core, seal, nut and cap. The batteries last about 5 to 10 years and can't be swapped. A new sensor runs $55 to $85 installed, and we do the relearn before you leave.

Before You Change Sizes

Keep the load index at or above what your door sticker says. On a truck that tows, go up, not down.

Four Things We Do All Day

No oil changes and no upsell list. Tires, brakes, alignments and flats, done fast because that is all we do.

Walked in at 7:35 with a screw in my tire and left at 8:05 for work. Twenty five bucks. They showed me the screw.

Four new tires on my F 150 in under an hour. Price on the paper matched what I paid, tax and all.

Another shop said I needed rotors. These guys measured them, showed me they were fine, and just did pads.

Tire Questions We Get Every Day

How long does it take to put on four new tires?

About 45 minutes to an hour for most cars and trucks when the tires are on our rack. Add 30 minutes if you want an alignment too. Book a bay online and you skip the line.

Do I have to replace all four tires on my AWD car?

Often yes. Many AWD makers want all four tires within about 2/32 to 3/32 of an inch of each other in tread depth, or the drivetrain can wear out. If your other three are close to new, we can shave a new tire down to match them.

Can I bring my own tires that I bought online?

Yes. Mount and balance is $25 a tire either way. Ship them to the shop and we will call you when they land. We check the date code and look them over before they go on.

How do I know when my tires are worn out?

Texas fails a tire at 2/32 of an inch. Put a penny in the tread with Lincoln's head down. If you can see all of his head, you are at 2/32 or less. We measure every tire for free, and in our summer heat we also check the date code, since tires past about six years old can crack.

Is the alignment really needed with new tires?

Not always. We check it for free while the car is on the lift. If the numbers are in spec, we tell you and you skip it. If your old tires wore on one edge, it is almost always needed.

Got a Size? Call It In.

Read us the size and we will tell you what is on the rack, the out the door price, and when a bay opens.
