A Reno woman and her son sorting old pharmacy receipts and pill bottles at the kitchen table

Used a Recalled Product? Find Your Proof First.

Pharmacy records, surgery notes, even old receipts. We help you find them, and a Reno lawyer reads every file.

Do not stop taking any prescribed medication without talking to your doctor.

Where Is My Proof?

Most people never kept the bottle. That's fine. Pick where the product came from and you get where the records live, how to ask for them and what to ask for. Nothing here is sent anywhere.

Where did you get it?
When did you start using it?

Federal law gives you the right to copies of your own health records. Providers may charge only a reasonable fee for them.

Daniel Ruiz on a call about a client's records

Two Lawyers and a Records Desk on Sierra Street

Daniel Ruiz and Megan Holt opened the office in 2011. A records clerk works only on finding proof for our clients. You get our cell numbers, not a call center.

  • A lawyer reads every file and calls you back, even when the answer is no.
  • We come to you in Carson City, Fernley or Minden if driving is hard.
  • If another firm helps on a large case, we tell you in writing first.

What Clients Say

4.8
★★★★★88 Google reviews

I thought I had nothing because the pharmacy closed years ago. Their clerk found the records through my old insurance.

Carol B. Sparks

Megan drove to Minden to meet my dad at home after his second surgery. She explained everything slowly and twice.

Tyler N. Gardnerville

First thing they said was keep taking my pills until I see my doctor. Then they got to work.

Rosa E. Carson City

Questions People Ask First

Should I stop taking my medicine?

Do not stop taking any prescribed medication without talking to your doctor. Stopping on your own can be dangerous. Your doctor can tell you if there is a safer choice.

What if I can't find any proof at all?

Call anyway. Insurance statements, a doctor's note or a family member who remembers the bottle can all help. With your signed OK, we send the record requests for you.

Does it cost anything to talk to you?

No. The first call and the file review are free. If we take your case, we are paid a share of what is recovered, and nothing if nothing is recovered. Costs are explained in writing before you sign.

Will another law firm be involved?

Sometimes. Large product cases are often shared with other firms that handle the national court work. If that happens, we tell you who and why, in writing, before you sign.

How long do product cases take?

Often years. Cases about one product tend to move through the courts together. We send you an update when anything changes and you can call us any weekday.
