    Before You Book

Short answers to what people ask us most, right at the desk.

We plan trips for families in Galveston, League City, Texas City, Friendswood, Pearland, Clear Lake, Dickinson, La Marque and Kemah.

Do I pay more by booking with a travel agent?

Usually no. The cruise line pays our commission, so the fare is the same as booking yourself. Some trips come with a small planning fee, and we tell you before you book if yours does.

When is final payment due on a cruise?

Most cruise lines want the rest of the fare about 75 to 90 days before you sail. Suites and holiday sailings can be due earlier. If you book inside that window, you pay in full when you book.

Should we park at the port or stay the night before?

If you live more than two hours away, we suggest the night before. Traffic on I 45 and fog on the causeway have made people miss the ship. Many island hotels include parking for the week.

    Do we need travel insurance?

It is your choice. It can cover a canceled trip, a missed ship or a medical bill at sea. We show you what a plan costs and what it covers before you decide.

Why did the price change since last week?

Cruise prices and cabins change daily until you book. Once your deposit is in, your fare is locked. If the price drops before final payment, we ask the cruise line to match it.
