Can Your Internet Carry Your Calls?

Internet phones need upload speed, and most shops never check theirs. Put in your numbers from the busiest hour of the day. You get a plain answer and what to fix.

What We Would Do

We plan on 100 kbps of upload for each HD voice call, and 1.5 Mbps for each video meeting. Real use runs a little lower, so this leaves some room.

A planning estimate, not a test of your line. Jitter and Wi Fi matter too, so we test on site before you buy anything.

Built for Loud, Spread Out Buildings

Offices are easy. We spend our days on shop floors, docks and service drives, where a missed call is a missed load. Tap any photo to see it big.

“Our old pages were mush over the presses. They moved two horns and added a third by the grinders. Now the whole floor hears it the first time.”

    Gary P. Gates

“They told us our upload was the real problem before selling us a single phone. Fixed that first, and the choppy calls stopped.”

    Denise M. Henrietta

“Switched us over on a Saturday. Monday morning the service drive phones just worked, same numbers as always.”

    Questions Before a Switch

Can we keep our phone numbers?

Yes. We move your numbers from your old carrier. Most moves take one to three weeks, and your old lines keep working until the day we switch.

Will people hear the page over the machines?

That is why we walk the floor first. We take sound readings at the loud spots and place horns and speakers so a page carries over the presses and the dock fans. Some areas get a strobe light too, for staff wearing ear protection.

What happens to our phones if the internet goes down?

Calls roll to the cell phone app or to a backup number you pick, so customers still reach a person. For shops that cannot miss a call, we add a second internet line that takes over on its own.

Do we have to sign a long contract?

No. Service is month to month. You can buy the phones and paging gear outright, so they stay yours if you ever leave us.

Can you reuse our old paging speakers and wiring?

Often, yes. On the site walk we test the old horns and cable runs. If they still work, we tie them into the new system and save you the cost of new wire.
