A Claims Desk on Broadway, Not a Call Center

When your AC quits in July, Linda picks up. She knows the repair companies by name, and she calls you back the same day with who is coming and when.

We started in 2009 with one family's rental houses. Now we cover homes from Lindale to Jacksonville, and every claim still gets decided in Tyler.

Buying or selling a home?Agents can add a Whole House Plan to the contract. The seller can pay at closing, and coverage starts that day.

AC died on a Saturday in August. Linda had a tech out Monday morning and I paid the $85 and nothing else.

Carla M., Tyler

They told me straight up the water heater was leaking before we bought the plan, so it was not covered. Honest, and they refunded me.

Dean P., Whitehouse

Our agent added it at closing. The dishwasher went out six weeks later and it was handled in two days.

Ana and Luis G., Lindale

Is a home warranty the same as homeowners insurance?

No. Homeowners insurance pays for sudden damage, like a hail storm, a fire or a tree through the roof. A home warranty is a service contract that pays to repair or replace covered systems and appliances that wear out. Most people in Tyler have both.

When does my coverage start?

If you buy a plan on your own, coverage starts 30 days after we get your first payment. If it is part of a home sale, it starts the day the sale closes. Anything broken before your start date is not covered.

Can I pick my own repair company?

Usually we send one of the local companies we work with, so we can pay them directly. If none can come within 48 hours, we can approve your own licensed company. Call us first so the claim is on file.

What if I want to cancel?

In the first 30 days you get a full refund. After that you get back the unused months, less a $50 fee and any claims we paid. You can cancel by phone or in writing.

I got a letter saying my home warranty is expiring. Is that you?

Only if it has our name, our Tyler address and your contract number on it. We never robocall. If you are not sure, hang up and call the number on your own contract.

The Parts Most Companies Print Small

  • This is a service contract. It is not homeowners insurance and it is not a maker's warranty.
  • What we pay for depends on your contract. Read the limits and exclusions on pages two and three before you sign.
  • Prices, fees and limits on this page are samples. Your contract shows the real ones.
  • A repair can be denied if the problem started before coverage or came from missing upkeep.
  • We choose repair or replace. A replacement matches what you had in size and features, not brand or color.
  • You can cancel at any time. The first 30 days are a full refund.
