The Setup
C&S Locksmith has been serving Hunt County, Texas, since 2000. They're the kind of business that earned their reputation a customer at a time — Greenville families, lake homes around Tawakoni, commercial accounts along the I-30 corridor, late-night lockouts on Highway 69.
The locksmith market is brutal online. National chains spam the map pack with fake addresses. Out-of-state lead aggregators buy paid ads and then sell the call to whichever subcontractor will take it. Real local locksmiths get drowned out by people who don't even have a physical license in the state.
C&S needed a site that did three things at once: establish they're real, rank for every city they service, and convert at the speed a lockout call demands.
The Two Sites You Should Actually Look At
The Strategy
Locksmith search is a textbook case for programmatic local SEO. Every city has its own emergency search demand. Every service has its own intent ("car lockout near me" is not the same query as "transponder key programming"). We built an architecture where each one gets a dedicated page.
22 location pages covering every city and town in the Hunt County service area, plus the surrounding counties — Rockwall, Kaufman, Rains, Hopkins, Delta, and the southern edge of Collin. 29 service pages split across the four core trades: residential, automotive, commercial, and 24/7 emergency.
"In a market where national chains run scam ads, the local license number on every page is the most underrated trust signal a real locksmith has."
The Trust Architecture
The thing that separates a real locksmith from a lead aggregator is a state license. C&S holds Texas license #B02005601, and it's visible on every page of the site — linked through to the actual Texas TOPS portal where anyone can verify it. That's the kind of signal Google's local algorithm has gotten very good at recognizing, and it's the kind of signal customers searching for "licensed locksmith Greenville" are explicitly looking for.
The Coverage Map
Hunt County is the home base, but the service radius extends roughly 35 miles from downtown Greenville. That covers parts of six counties and a couple dozen named communities — from Sulphur Springs to Royse City, Caddo Mills to Wills Point. Each one is its own location page, with the specific landmarks, the specific response time estimate, and the specific service area copy that matches how locals actually search.
