- Business name exactly as it appears elsewhere online
- Phone number and address you use on your other listings
- Website address
- A logo or clear photo for the profile picture
Step by Step
Set Up Your Listing
- Create an Instagram account or log in to the one you already have.
- Open your profile and go to More, then Settings and activity (on a computer, click More then Settings).
- Under For professionals, choose Account type and tools.
- Click or tap Switch to professional account.
- Choose Business, not Creator. Business suits local businesses and service providers.
- Pick a category that fits what you do.
- Add your contact details when it asks.
- Optionally connect a Facebook Page.
Sites move their buttons around. If a screen looks different, look for words like add, claim or list your business.
Good to Know
Tips for This Site
- A private account becomes public when you switch, and pending follow requests are accepted automatically.
- You can switch back to a personal account any time under Account type and tools.
- Use the same business name, phone and address you use on your other listings.
