How to Add Your Business to Nextdoor Business Page

Nextdoor is a neighborhood network where neighbors recommend local businesses, and a Business Page puts your company in front of them.

8 steps, checked November 5, 2026.

Nextdoor Business Page in Short

Best ForHome and local service businesses that get work by word of mouth
CostNextdoor says the Business Page is free, with unlimited free posts. Nextdoor Ads are a separate paid product and the page we read gave no ad prices.
AccountA Nextdoor account. You can make a new one or log in to an existing one.
How It Checks YouNextdoor says you must be an owner, employee or other authorized person for the business. Casual service providers such as dog walkers or babysitters need official business documents before they can post to the newsfeed.

What to Have Ready

  • Business name and location
  • Business phone and website
  • Photos of your team and your work
  • Official business documents if you are a casual service provider

Set Up Your Listing

  1. Go to business.nextdoor.com/local and choose the option to sign up free or claim your free Business Page.
  2. Create a new account or log in to an existing one.
  3. Decide whether to connect your business account to your personal account. Do not connect them if you plan to share the business login with staff.
  4. Search for your business using both the name and the location.
  5. If you find your page, claim it.
  6. If you do not see it, scroll to the bottom and select Not here to create your Business Page.
  7. Add your story, contact information and photos of you, your team and your work.
  8. To post, open the Content tab on your page, create a post, and set the radius or neighborhoods that will see it.

Sites move their buttons around. If a screen looks different, look for words like add, claim or list your business.

Tips for This Site

  • Search with both name and location before you create a new page.
  • Keep your contact information current so neighbors can reach you.
  • Ask happy customers for Faves, because Nextdoor says neighbor recommendations build your reputation.
