The Setup
Most shop software is built for a building. A front counter, a service writer, bays and a waiting room. A mobile mechanic has none of that. He has a truck, a phone and a customer standing in a driveway who wants to know what it costs right now.
Supercanic does both kinds of work. We tried the big shop programs. They were slow on a phone, they wanted the customer to come in to sign, and they charged per seat for people who never sit down.
So Anthony built Shop Desk himself, inside the Supercanic shop in San Jacinto. Every screen got tested on real jobs before anyone else saw it.

The Switch
Supercanic moved its whole shop onto Shop Desk on September 2, 2026. We brought the history with us, 838 paid invoices going back to August 2025, so every returning customer already had a record on day one.
Since the switch, 146 paid invoices have been written in Shop Desk itself. No paper. No second system.
The Number That Changed the Most
The old way to get a yes on a quote was a phone call. Then a callback. Then a voicemail. Shop Desk texts the quote with a link, and the customer taps to approve.
102 customers approved their quote by text between September 3 and October 17. The median time from opening the job to the customer's yes was 1 hour and 43 minutes. On a mobile job, that's the difference between doing the work today and losing the customer to the next mechanic who calls back.
Other Shops Started Using It
We didn't build Shop Desk to sell it. But other owners saw it and asked. 33 businesses have signed up since September 2. 9 of them have already run real jobs through it. They're not all mechanics, either. Locksmiths, a garage door company and a private investigator run their work on it too.
That's an early number, and we're saying so. Most signups are still setting up. We'd rather show you 9 real shops than claim a thousand.
How We Got These Numbers
Every count comes from the Shop Desk database on October 18, 2026. Paid invoices are final invoices marked paid and created in Shop Desk on or after September 2, 2026, with training and voided jobs left out. The 838 earlier invoices were imported from Supercanic's old records. Signups exclude our test accounts. We publish totals only. No customer, and no other shop's numbers, appear on this page.
