The Setup
Hemet Mobile Mechanic is a dual operation: mobile mechanics who come to your driveway anywhere in Riverside County, and a garage in Hemet for engine rebuilds, transmission swaps, and body work that can't happen curbside. The old WordPress site didn't tell that story — it was slow, generic, and buried the two things customers care about: what it costs and how fast someone can come.
So we did what we always do with WordPress sites that have stopped earning their keep: rebuilt the whole thing as hand-coded static HTML. No plugins, no page builders, no database — just fast pages that say exactly what the shop does, with the phone number everywhere.
The Two Pages You Should Actually Look At
The Strategy
Same dual-intent architecture we proved on Supercanic: mobile-mechanic intent ("mobile mechanic Hemet") and shop intent ("engine replacement near me") are different searches from different customers. The title tag targets the money query — "Mobile Mechanic Hemet CA" — and every service page carries the mobile-or-garage answer up top, so the visitor knows in five seconds whether their job comes to them or goes to the bay.
Eight service verticals, each on its own page: brakes, oil changes, diagnostics, suspension, engine replacement, transmission swaps, cooling system, and body, paint & restoration. Trust signals run sitewide — 3-year parts & labor warranty, open 7 days 9am–8pm, same-day appointments.
"A local service site has one job: make the phone ring. Every design decision on this build — the truck photo, the badge row, the published prices — exists to get the visitor to tap the number."
The Rebuild
Light theme, navy-and-amber brand, and photography of the actual operation — the same service truck customers see pull up to their driveway is the one on the homepage. Thirteen pages total. It loads instantly because there's nothing to load: no theme framework, no plugin scripts, no render-blocking anything. WordPress hosting bills became a static-hosting rounding error.
