Anthony Limpert, writer and founder of Clickflame
Founder of Clickflame · ASE Business Built With Master Automotive Technicians

Anthony Limpert started Clickflame, the Long Beach digital marketing agency behind this site, in 2004. He is also co-founder of Supercanic, an ASE Business Built With Master Automotive Technicians.

He also co-founded Supercanic with Alaina Limpert, who owns it. At Supercanic he is the lead technician and he built Shop Desk, the software the shop runs on. That mix is why his posts read like they come from someone who answers the phone.

More about Anthony at anthonylimpert.com.

Over the years he has owned or managed four other agencies: BrandRep (brandrep.com), Adcom8 (adcom8.com), 1421 Digital (1421digital.com) and NapSync (napsync.com). He has also done work for other agencies, including Searchbloom, Scorpion and Whitespark.

Clickflame has won 38 awards from 2017 to 2026: 27 from Clutch, 10 from UpCity and one from OnBaze.

Clickflame has been his company since 2004. It launched its digital marketing services in 2017.

He started as a photojournalist for Knight Ridder, the newspaper group that owned the Akron Beacon Journal. At the Beacon Journal he worked with Craig Webb (his Kent State bio).

In 2007 Clickflame built The Plain Dealer's online website in Cleveland. Anthony also did newspaper and digital projects with The Charlotte Observer (a Knight Ridder paper then), the Los Angeles Times and the LANG papers (the Los Angeles Newspaper Group, with the Daily News, Press-Telegram, Daily Breeze, San Gabriel Valley Tribune, Pasadena Star-News, Whittier Daily News and Inland Daily Bulletin), plus The Wall Street Journal and USA Today. For papers including the Akron Beacon Journal, The Plain Dealer, The Charlotte Observer, the LA Times, the LANG papers, The Wall Street Journal and USA Today, Clickflame built websites for the papers and their advertising clients, sold advertising and helped run circulation campaigns.

He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from The University of Akron (2004) and took later coursework at Ohio State. In 2023 he graduated from bail agent school, the same California bail school most ABBA Bail Bonds agents went through.
